What is Virtual Real Estate?
First, here is what it is NOT.
It is NOT about actual real estate such as houses, office buildings, apartments or land.
It has NOTHING to do with what most people think of as "real estate."
What Virtual Real Estate IS.
What it IS, is digital properties. Mostly websites. But there are a lot of other digital properties.
Most importantly, Virtual Real Estate can be EXTREMELY VALUABLE.
If you have a website ranked on Page One of Google for a very competitive and lucrative term, that website and its ranking on Google has very real value.
To understand VIRTUAL Real Estate, you can compare it to actual real estate.
With VIRTUAL REAL ESTATE, think of the website (or other digital asset) as the BUILDING. Then, think of that asset being on Page One of Google as the LOCATION.
If you have a nice "building" (a compelling website) on a prime "location" (Page 1 of Google), you have something worth thousands if not HUNDREDS of thousand of dollars.
